"I have trained with Mathew twice a week for two months now. My goal is to reduce body fat and to increase muscle strength. After these two months, my weight hasn't changed all that much but my body fat percentage has gone from 39% (yikes) to 34%. Moreover, my resting heart rate has gone from high 70's to low 60's, indicating that I am getting in a much better shape. I still have a ways to go but I'm OK with that. I don't feel like I'm torturing myself (unlike all prior attempts at exercise, including with other PTs), the workouts have become a routine part of my week and it definitely helps that Mathew comes to my house to drag me out kicking and screaming if need be!
